Industrial area in Bratislava that was once on the outskirts of the city is now part of the broader city center. The site is densely built-up with various functions, but with no coordination or public functions. Main uses of the paved surfaces are parking and material storage. Although the „mess“ has its atmosphere, nobody stays in the area longer than needed. The people visiting or residing are mostly workers, car mechanics and builders. Some old buildings have recently been transformed into studios and offices. The site has an old rail network which we used as the main artery of revitalisation. We expect the development wave in the city center soon arriving in this area.
